State of TRACOM June 2018

Greetings Marines!
Best wishes to everyone and thier Families over the upcoming Independence Holiday.
SFMC TRACOM Has been Very busy working on revising materials, updating manuals, and assigning new Directors. We continue to work hard to resolve and do our best to Train the Force.

With that being said! I would like to thank the Directors and support staff in SFMC TRACOM for their diligence in working for each marine’s benefit. I would like to thanks Both General Mcgowan filling in as Combined Arms director in an Interim Status. He has been a true asset to SFMC over the years. I have recently taken over the Combined Arms branch. I am still looking for new and vibrant Marines to join our team.  Additionally, I would like to thank Mitch Dunn for staying the course on Xeno-Romulan for a number of years. I want to personally thank him for his selfless devotion and help with SFMC TRACOM.

Awards and Devices – Recently it has been presented that some of the Devices are have been changed as part of the CS Directive. We have changed the leadership and the Medical device.  We have went in to the database and updated the specific devices. We are continuing to work on updating the manuals and other locations on the web. This is a bit of a process, however, we are looking forward and leaning forward to the foxhole to get this done.

I am also working with the directors to work on updating the MOS manual, TRACOM manuals and updating them. Additionally, i am looking at bringing some courses on being a director. This is not the same as SFA, however, We hope to work on these specific to SFMC Academy. This is a process, but it is something that we are working on.

I am looking at documents that we have there I.e MURP and MOSC, among others. I think that we could use some revising on the form and also directions on filling them out and information needed.

Annual Awards: IC is almost around the corner! Who will be awarded Team Delta or the TRACOM Commander’s award.

Thank you for all marines hard work and we look forward to your course completions and Grades !

Welcome to our New TRACOM Staff Members

Greetings Marines,

Well it’s almost July already.  Another year half way over.  I hope every has a great fourth of July coming up on Wednesday.  Just watch out for the heat and don’t over do it.  I have had a couple of friends in the last couple of weeks who have been out in the heat too long, got dehydrated and got sick from it.  Be careful out there.

If you have any questions, please let me know.  I’ll get back to
you as soon as I can.

In closing, here’s the pingdom stats for March and April 2018.
