State of Tracom, October 2011
Greetings Marines!
First off, this report is a bit tardy and I apologize for that.

Numbers:
In the month of September, SFMCA posted 208 grades for 52 students. During that same month ADC created  207 ecerts and 45 ribbons and devices were issued. In the first 15 days of October, SFMCA posted 112 grades for 42 students. Nicely done.

Personnel Changes:
The application period for the TRACOM NCO post doesn't expire until tomorrow, so I can not yet make an announcement on this matter. Further, a few more personnel changes may be announced in the next few days.

Notes:
As some of you may have heard, this has been an interesting month at TRACOM HQ. First, the computer system here decided to turn its little toes skyward and shuffle off this mortal coil. Second, our communications gear (phones) made a very, very similar decision. Thankfully, and due completely to the generosity and patience of others, we are back up and running on all fronts with minor data loss. Thank you for you help on these matters, you know who you are.
Owing to these difficulties, there has not been a lot of new things going on here at HQ, mostly just working hard to get back to where we were. The Directors, however, have been working their little tushies off servicing SFMCA student requests. Thanks Troops for the hard work.

Have a Safe and Happy Halloween.
