Its Latin and it means “Always Learning, Always Teaching” which, in my short time as COTRACOM (both acting and official) has become my personal motto for Training and Doctrine Command. I am always learning something new pretty much every day, and to an extent, I teach something to my shipmates

Greetings Marines!

Once again I am coming to you from in the booth in the back in the corner in the dark of my local NCO club, where these days the drink of choice is a simple di-hydrogen monoxide solution with a bit of flavoring added, and rumors of an official SFMC uniform proposal consisting of a Speedo with rank insignia on it are countered with rumors of the box of carefully labeled (with individual names) flash bang grenades locked in my lower left hand desk drawer. Nothing to worry about- in most cases the name is my own- a little temporary blindness might be called for.

Speaking of rumors, there is a persistent one that I would like to address right off the bat, namely that PD-10 is required to be a STARFLEET Marine. I will simply direct your attention to Section 1.1 of

Greetings, Marines;

I have to apologize for the lateness of this State of address; I became a tad overwhelmed when I was asked to be Acting COTRACOM and continue my duties as DCOTRACOM at the same time. I have some very large shoes to fill as my mentor and close friend, LGEN Mike McGowan, has been called to step up into the role of the illustrious DepDant billet. Mike, I hope I do you proud for as long as I have this job!

I am excited to say your General Staff has been hard at work designing and having fabricated lovely new qualification badges! Thus far, we are proud to offer our very own and exclusive to the SFMC qualification badges for IN-20 Advanced Infantry Badge, IN-30 Expert Infantry Badge, and the BEAUTIFUL AE wings. The pictures just simply do not do them justice and the price

During this month we lost a valued member of the Corps Brigadier Joseph Gallagher of the 128th MSG in the 1st Brigade, I knew Joe not only thru STARFLEET but we were friends outside of the organization last year Joe and myself and our friend Sandy went to Kentucky Down Under in Horse Cave, KY and had a get day together one of the events at the Kentucky Down Under was a vegemite eating contest, and Joe decided that he was going enter the challenge and they both decided I needed to enter it as well. In the end it was a draw between me and Joe, I will

Greetings all,

Please excuse the tardiness of this office, I have been writing this
report the past week now, but with the recent passing of my
mother-in-law and SFMC member, Donna Leavitt its been hard to finish,
but I knew I had to. Right now, I am on a leave of absence from the
GS and my DCO, Joe Brouhard is sitting in the center seat as Acting
CoInfocom. I plan to return, so Joe don't get too comfortable in "my"
office.

With May behind us and June coming to a close, its time to start
thinking about the IC and beyond. Where do we see Infocom and where
is it going. Is it going anywhere?

One reality is we did not accomplish as much as I wanted to this year.
During my first year in office, I wanted to have a new WordPress site
started and in testing. We had to keep pushing that project off due
to multiple site breakdowns between

Greetings to all Marines

At time of writing this, many of our Marines will be suffering through sweltering heat or fighting off the seasonal storms that seem to be affecting the U.S. at this time of the year.
It is hoped that all our Marines and their families have gone through this period safely if not at the least, a little comfortably. Where's an SFMC Engineer when you need one to fix that AC??

Summer heat waves and storms aside, we continue to hurtle towards IC/IM and for those who are fortunate enough to attend, we all hope that you have a most pleasurable experience in Tennessee. I am certain that the Marines in attendance will yet again pass evidence of the camaraderie, fun and fellowship that comes with being a member of the Corps. One can only hope that the fellowship does not get spilled
