It is with pleasure that TRACOM announces the appointment of BGN Lauren Niemeyer to the post of Cadet Academy Dean at the SFMCA, effective immediately. BGN Niemeyer brings with her a solid background in child education and was instumental in the massive overhaul of the SFMC Cadet (Youth) Manual, as well as the creation of associated MTU exams used in the PD School. TRACOM is confident that BGN Niemeyer will bring much added value to this important portion of the SFMC Academy and will be a good addition to our team.

We would also like to truly applaud and to thank the many applicants who applied for this position all of whom have been contacted separately. We are always honored and proud of the members who put themselves forward to volunteer their services and personal time to the benefit of serving their fellow members. We salute

Begin transmission…

Greetings Marines,

Well another IC has come and gone, but sadly this year I was unable to attend. However, I did notice that my newly minted DCO spent some time under a desk yet again. Of course like last year there is photographic evidence. He really needs to learn how to find a bed, as I've heard that they are far more comfortable than the floor. However he did well at giving the INFOCOM report at this years IM so I have to go a little easy on him. Now that he has settled back into his new office it's time to start putting him to work.

Greetings to all Marines and students of the SFMCA

I was once told "never start a communication with an apology" - but I have to in this case. So - my apologies for the delay in getting this report out, but I managed to squeeze some time out to grab a shuttle to another part of the planet (Australia in this case) to attend the 11th Brigade Muster and R11 Summit. I survived.... just... Hence the delay in reporting.

Greetings Marines!

As usual, I’m coming to you from the booth in the back, in the corner, in the dark of the local NCO club, where cameras are banned, so you won’t see any embarrassing images of someone under a table (or on top of a table for that matter) and some of the members are reporting on the field tests of the SFMC’s new Doomsday Weapon, the IM Hangover. Weather continues to be strange, with tornadoes, wildfires, hail, flooding, and a local grasshopper population doing its best imitation of a plague of locusts, Some have wondered if these are signs of some sort of apocalypse, but until I hear that Prigal has been commissioned as a 2LT, I’m not going to fret much.
